R&TTE Directive Testing

The prevalence of wireless and radio equipment in a wide range of products led the European Commission to repeal the R&TTE Directive in favor of the broader Radio Equipment Directive (RED). The RED went into effect in June 2016 with a one-year transition period where the R&TTE Directive remained an option. As of June 13, 2017, the transition period ended and all new and existing products within the scope of the RED must comply in order to achieve CE marking.
