Supporting CarbonLeap in fuel switch and carbon intensity reduction

Intertek is playing a pivotal role in supporting CarbonLeap's initiative to reduce CO2 emissions, providing expert witness, measurement and verification services for fuel blending. This collaboration is crucial in ensuring the precision and effectiveness of CarbonLeap's CO2 savings initiatives.
CarbonLeap, a Dutch project, focuses on accelerating the market for voluntary CO2 reductions, particularly through biofuel blending in marine and heavy road transport sectors in the Netherlands. The initiative is designed to assist cargo owners and their clients in decarbonising their supply chains through a unique product named Carbon Insets.
Intertek's role involves meticulously witnessing, measuring and verifying the blending processes and carbon intensity of fuels used in marine and road transportation. Our comprehensive team comprises specialists from Intertek Caleb Brett, Intertek Lintec and carbon footprint experts from the Intertek CarbonClear certification group. With such a diverse and global team of professionals, we are exceptionally equipped to support companies in achieving their net zero ambitions, making significant strides in environmental sustainability.
