China – 2019 Updated Textile and Footwear Products Standard List (October)

The standardization administration of the People’s Republic of China recently released announcement No.13 of 2019 to publish standards updates. The announcement included some updated textile and footwear product standards and method standards, including GB/T 24252—2019 “Silk quilts” and GB/T 22705—2019 “Safety specifications for cords and drawstrings on children's clothing,” as well as some new standards for textiles such as GB/T 38134—2019 “General technical specification for professional clothing” and GB/T 38034—2019 “Footwear—Test methods for slide fasteners—Lateral strength.”
