Intertek retains place in prestigious FTSE4Good Index Series for the eighth year running

London, UK: Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, is pleased to announce that, after a rigorous review process, it has been selected for inclusion in the prestigious FTSE4Good Index Series for the eighth year running, reconfirming the Group’s status as a force for good in the world, committed to bringing quality, safety and sustainability to life with precision, pace and passion.
The FTSE4Good Index Series is a global benchmark which uses transparent metrics to measure the performance of companies that demonstrate strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. Since its launch in 2001, the FTSE4Good Index has been widely used to create and assess the sustainability credentials of a diverse range of investment products, and today includes some of the world’s most well-known and respected companies.
Intertek was recognised by the FTSE Group for its industry-leading policies around labour standards, corporate governance and climate change, areas in which the Group measured significantly higher than both the subsector and UK average. These results demonstrate Intertek’s rigorous approach to transparency and disclosure, measuring itself against the company’s own highly demanding sustainability standards which are truly end-to-end and systemic.
