Once again Intertek attends Cevisama and Habitat fair to Support Ceramics and Lighting Exporters

Bilbao, Spain - Intertek, leading provider of quality and safety solutions to a wide range of industries worldwide, has visited Cevisama and Habitat fair held in Valencia from 11 to 14 February to continue supporting professional ceramists and lighting companies in their exports to countries with product conformity programs.

Intertek is an IFIA* company approved by governments of different countries for the issuance of the Certificate of Conformity prior to shipping the goods to the countries. The objective of these programs is to ensure compliance with the quality and safety standards of the imported products, ensuring the security of local consumers against sub-standard products.

Intertek, as a first inspection body approved by the Government of Saudi Arabia to the issuance of the CoC since 1996, has increased its portfolio of governments contracts to ensure the compliance with local and regional standards by the exporters.

Intertek collaborates with the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers' Association (ASCER) and the Spanish Federation of Manufacturers and Exporters of Decorative Lighting (FEDAI) to guide ceramic professionals and lighting companies through the entire certification process with the ultimate goal of ensuring the success of their exports and a smoothly customs clearance at the arrival of the destination country.

Our government programs include countries such as Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Botswana, Ethiopia, Gabon, Kenya, Kuwait, Nigeria, Qatar, Tanzania and Uganda.
