Intertek Food Services strengthens their customer service for the Food Industry

Arash Eskandari and Monika Oeters join the team of experts at Intertek
Bremen - Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions around the world, has strengthened its Food Services Customer Services team with the addition of Arash Eskandari and Monika Oeters. The organisation's expert Food Services team specialise in food analysis, certification and auditing, for the entire length of the supply chain, from raw materials through production and retail to consumers.
Public discussion has shown that control mechanisms that should guarantee the safety of food require continuous improvement. As a company that uses the latest methods and technology, and continually works to further its knowledge and technical capabilities, Intertek Food Services has accepted the challenge to make an important contribution to increase the safety of food, not least of all through their integrated provision of services. The additional team members will reinforce this service offering to ensure that Intertek continues to help the food industry to deliver safe and quality food to consumers around the globe.

Arash Eskandari will take on the role of Global Project Manager to further develop Intertek's global food chain management system. He brings with him a wealth of international experience in the nutritional supplements and packaging industry, complemented by his years in supplier management for the automotive industry. His expertise in the field of business systems analysis has led to the successful completion of several complex Six Sigma projects and essential collaboration with the original equipment.
Monika Oeters brings with her a wealth of experience as a laboratory manager and food chemist in her new role as Food Supply Chain Manager for Intertek. In her former role as the International Food Standard (IFS) manager, she was responsible for managing the implementation and conformity of the standard, the associated training measures and overall customer communications.
