Edward Wang Joins Intertek’s Power Systems Group

New Appointment Brings Added Expertise and Efficiency to Clients’ Testing Programs

The company today announced a significant addition to its Power Systems Services group.  Edward Wang has joined the company as a Senior Project Engineer, an appointment that benefits Intertek’s Power Systems clients nationwide.

With an experience spanning nearly 15 years with Cummins Power Generation as a Technical Project and Design Engineering Leader, Mr. Wang brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Power Systems industry to Intertek.  “We are delighted to have Edward join our group as we continue to expand our capabilities and our market share in this industry,” said Brad Affeldt, District Sales Manager in Minnesota.

Mr. Wang has been involved in many innovative design launches and component solutions.  He has also led design teams which have launched several innovative new products, designing one of the first Tier 4i products, as well as designing one of the first generator sets to be listed to UL/ANSI 2200.  The added experience Edward brings to Intertek will help to further strengthen the speed and efficiency in which its clients can access both North American and Global markets.

Edward Wang holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Mechanical Engineering.  He will be based in Oakdale, MN and assumes his new role effective immediately.
