Intertek Expands Food Regulatory Services in Asia with New Beijing Office

International food companies and their ingredient suppliers now have ready access to expert advice and solutions for regulatory compliance and new product approvals in China.
Mississauga, ON– Intertek announces its latest expansion of food services in Asia with the opening of a new office providing market access consulting services in Beijing, China.
International food companies and their ingredient suppliers recognize the importance of accessing the Asian marketplace. The Beijing office will complement Intertek’s existing food and agriculture commodity inspection, testing and food safety certification services in China. This offers clients on-the-ground regulatory support, intelligence and advice for China and neighbouring Asian markets as an integral part of a global product approval strategy.
With accelerated urbanization and increasing demand for convenience foods and safe ingredients, the food market in China has witnessed annual growth rates as high as 30%.
