Intertek Expands in San Diego and Shenzhen to Address Growing Demand for LTE/4G Testing and Device Certification

Arlington Heights, IL – Intertek (LSE: ITRK), a leading provider of quality and safety solutions serving a wide range of industries around the world, today announced the expansion of its telecommunication certification services – including the opening of new laboratories in San Diego, CA and Shenzhen, China – to address the growing demand for testing and certification for LTE/4G in these regions.
The need for testing and certification services for this industry has grown rapidly over the past several years. Both laboratories will include specific testing for protocol conformance, data retry and data throughput. Shenzhen, China will also have the capability of RF conformance.
