Intertek Partners with AT4 Wireless for Local Testing of Photovoltaic Modules

Partnership accelerates access to North American markets for Spanish photovoltaic manufacturers.
Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions serving a range of industries worldwide, today announced that it has signed partnership agreement with AT4 wireless, based in Malaga Spain. The agreement enables AT4 wireless to test photovoltaic modules and panels to the North American standard, UL 1703. For those products found to be in compliance with UL 1703 will be eligible for Intertek’s ETL Listed Mark for North American market entry.
This agreement – in addition to existing AT4 wireless IEC accreditations – will allow Spanish manufacturers to get access to global markets in the most time and cost conscious way, by conducting one set of tests for both IEC and UL standards. This partnership builds upon Intertek’s own worldwide network of photovoltaic laboratories, located in Germany, California, and China.
