Intertek Acquires National Software Testing Labs

Intertek Group plc, the leading international provider of quality and safety services to a wide range of industries, today announced its acquisition of National Software Testing Labs (NSTL). NSTL is the leading test lab for mobile applications used for entertainment, gaming, banking and, among others, business purposes. The company provides functionality, usability, quality assurance, and compliance testing to requirements set forth by Application Developers, Platform Sponsors (such as Qualcomm TRUE BREW and Microsoft Mobile) and Wireless Service Providers.

The NSTL acquisition bolsters Intertek’s wireless testing scope and capacity, and creates the industry’s only full service testing lab for mobile devices and the applications that run on them and Wireless Service Provider networks.
