Exporting Food Products to Qatar – Ministry of Public Health appoints Intertek to issue Certificate of Conformity

Exports of Food to Qatar benefit from a Certificate of Conformity for Customs clearance

The Ministry of Public Health - Food Safety and Environmental Health Division (MoPH – FSD) of the State of Qatar has appointed Intertek as a third-party Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) and has been approved to Evaluate, Test, Inspect and Certify regulated food product consignments exported to the State of Qatar until 30th April 2023.

Intertek can now issue Certificates of Conformity (CoC) for food products imported into Qatar.

Food Products issued with a CoC from an approved CAB would benefit from a fast-track clearance of goods and a substantially reduced destination inspection and intervention by Custom Authorities at the Qatar Ports/Borders.
