Conformity Certification of Testing, Inspection and Verification to Meet Pakistan Import Requirements
The Federal Government of Pakistan has issued SRO604 in the Import Policy Order regulating the import of solar PV equipment to maintain quality as per international standards entering in Pakistan market.
- The Type Test Certificate (TTC) is to be issued by an Accredited Laboratory in the country of origin or exporting country operating in accordance with the requirement of ISO/IEC17025
- The Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is to be issued by an Accredited Agency in the country of origin or exporting country operating in accordance with the requirement of ISO/IEC17065
- The Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (PSIC) is to be issued by an Accredited Agency in the country of origin or exporting country operating in accordance with the requirement of ISO/IEC17020
Regulated Products include, but are not limited to:
- Solar PV panels
- Inverters,
- Charge Controllers,
- Junction Boxes,
- Cables and Standalone Solar Products including solar kits, solar water pumps, solar water heaters, and solar cookers.
Regulated Products not accompanied by the required certificates may be subject to post-landing examination and testing resulting in a delay in clearance. Intertek can support importers and exporters to confirm this compliance and to expedite customs clearance.
