Exporting Food to Egypt: Intertek approved by NFSA to Certify additional Regulated Products

The National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) has approved Intertek to certify consignments of the following newly regulated products exported to Egypt from the corresponding Countries of Supply (CoS) under the NFSA Certification Programme:

• Coffee and Tea supplied from USA, UAE, Italy, Poland, Spain, Turkey
• Honey supplied from USA, UAE, Italy, Poland, Spain, Turkey
• Sauces and similar products supplied from USA, UAE, Italy, Poland, Spain, Turkey
• Eggs supplied from USA
• Food additives supplied from USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Italy, Poland, Spain, Turkey

Effective immediately, these newly regulated product consignments exported to Egypt from their corresponding Countries of Supply (CoS) can now be issued with a Certificate of Inspection (CoI) by Intertek for faster Customs clearance at the Egyptian Ports/Borders.
