Webinar Downloads | What's new about the CLP Regulation? Introduction of new hazard classes: their meaning and their impact
The Commission delegated regulation (EU) 2023/707 amending the Classification, Labelling And Packaging (CLP) regulation, adopted by the Commission on 19 December 2022, entered into force on 20 April 2023.
The amendment contains several important changes to the CLP regulation, as it introduces new hazard labels for chemicals that are persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT), very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB), persistent, mobile and toxic (PMT), and very persistent and very mobile (vPvM). It also introduces a new hazard class for endocrine disruptors (EDs) for humans or the environment.
In this webinar, we will discuss the main changes of the amendment, the meaning of the new hazard categories (with a focus on EDs), and the impact of the amendment on the CLP of chemical products.
