The guideline classifies the new ingredients as high risk and low risk, which will be subject to different obligations and management strategies. Nano ingredients and biotechnology source-ingredients are newly included in the scope and the data requirements. In addition, stability testing is also required, including accelerated stability tests and cyclic temperature stress testing.
