Webinar Downloads | Implications of UK REACH within the Supply Chain
The Brexit UK-EU withdrawal agreement transition period concluded 00:00 CET on 1st January 2021 and European Union law no longer applies in the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland (N.B. a protocol in the withdrawal agreement allows Northern Ireland to remain in the UK customs territory and, at the same time, benefit from access to the EU single market, meaning EU REACH continues to apply there). Those placing chemicals on the UK market (manufacturer / importer / downstream user), will need to consider how their compliance obligations under UK REACH compared to EU REACH have changed re supplying or purchasing substances, mixtures or articles to or from:
- the European Union (EU),
- the European Economic Area (EEA),
- Northern Ireland,
- Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), and
- the rest of the world.
This on-demand webinar will explore the changes for actors within the supply chain, i.e. roles, relevant duties, time-frames, etc. UK REACH (The REACH etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (as amended)), is now in force and now is the time to understand, take stock and act.
