Intertek Assuris Sponsors and Presents at the 3rd Annual Meat Evolution Leaders Summit 2025
16 Jan 2025
Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, will sponsor and present for the first time at the 3rd Annual Meat Evolution Leaders Summit 2025 (MEVO 2025), which will take place on February 12-13, 2025, in Singapore.
MEVO 2025 is an invite-only summit that brings together leaders from across the globe to discuss pressing issues related to the development of cultivated meat as a new food technology. The summit exclusively hosts up to 200 decision-makers in person, ranging from prominent to smaller-sized manufacturers, commercial producers, investors, cutting-edge technology providers, intellectuals, brands, and future food innovators who are eager to expand their knowledge and presence in this lucrative growth market.
During the conference, Ryan Simon, Senior Director of Safety and Regulatory Affairs at Intertek Assuris’ Food & Nutrition Group, will present on the topic: “The Future of Food Meets the Rules of Today” Ryan will discuss the scientific and regulatory requirements for obtaining premarket clearance for a cultivated meat or seafood product under the FDA’s Cell Culture Consultation program. He will share key insights from his participation in the FDA’s program from its early stages and identify the pivotal data requirements needed to achieve successful premarket clearance of a company’s product. He will also present a historical overview of the pitfalls that have hindered the program’s success and explain how understanding these issues can be leveraged to help achieve success in product approvals. We are excited to engage with our clients and industry stakeholders at this global event and explore opportunities for collaborative partnerships.
