Intertek presents the Importance of Oilfield Microbiological Control and Testing Methods Solutions at ISMOS9 Conference

Heike Hoffmann, Research and Consultant Microbiologist, and Lloyd Potts, Consultant and Senior Microbiologist, both have extensive experience providing independent consultancy and testing services relating to corrosion, production chemistry and microbiology in the oil and gas industry.

Heike Hoffman will present on June 30th at 12 PM during Session: Monitoring, Control, Diagnostics and New Methods for the Energy Sector Offered Papers. Her presentation will review how the choice of control methods influences the interpretation of microbiological results. Same day and session, Lloyd Potts will speak at 1:30 PM to explain how a temporal assessment of sulphate can reduce microorganisms and reservoir souring in North Sea oil wells.
