Intertek Presents Seminar on Changes to the ISO TS 16949 4th Edition Rules

Driving through TS Rules and Original Equipment Manufacturer Customer Specific Requirements
Milan, Italy – Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions serving a wide range of industries worldwide, successfully completed the launch of their new seminar “Driving through TS Rules and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Customer Specific Requirements” on January 16, 2014 in Cerro Maggiore (MI), Italy.
The one-day seminar was presented in a fast-paced workshop format, designed to educate attendees on the changes to the 4th edition of the ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard, the international rules for automotive quality management.
On October 1, 2013, the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) published the new rules which aim to further enhance the quality in the automotive industry and to increase the value of the ISO/TS certification and audit process for all stakeholders.
Intertek’s seminar provided a unique opportunity for discussion, focus, and training on the current changes within the automotive industry and the new TS 16949 requirements, including:
- The new ISO TS 16949:2009 (IATF Rules 4th edition) impact on the auditing methodology and standard application
- The Customer Specific Requirements for nine main Original Equipment Manufacturers
- Two representatives from Fiat-Chrysler deeply introduced the Customer Specific Requirements
