Intertek to Present at Switzerland Biofuel Certification, Procurement and Trade Seminar

Intertek biofuel experts will present and attend the “Biofuel Certification: Opportunities for Procurement and Trading” seminar on October 4, 2012 at the Kempinski Hotel in Geneva, Switzerland.
Intertek’s Martin Grass will provide updates on sustainable biofuel certification and related topics. Kingsman, which provides market analysis and research in sugar, biofuels and biofuel feedstocks, has organized this event, together with the RSB (Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels). The seminar brings together global biofuels business participants, including biofuel producers, industry associations, government officials, European regulators, traders, auditors, oil companies and others involved in the biodiesel and ethanol fuel value chains.
Distinguished speakers from the industry will provide the audience with top level presentations and inside information. The seminar will promote discussion with the aim to clarify existing issues, bring up solutions and identify opportunities. Intertek’s sustainability certification expert Martin Grass will provide insights from certification of biofuel value chains from the perspective of an auditing company and moderate two panel discussions focusing on double counting and certification related issues.
