Our post-cleaning verification protocols have been developed based on available industry guidance. Efforts should be made to trace and target all areas in which the individual came in contact
Typically performed using electrostatic or fogging delivery systems

Post-Cleaning and Disinfection Services

Intertek-PSI will evaluate the effectiveness of the disinfection using combinations of the following protocols:

Observation of the work areas to document that the areas are free of obvious contamination.
A “white glove test” to verify no dust, debris, or residues remain within the cleaned areas.
Surface swab samples of select touch surface areas for laboratory analysis.
Surface samples will be collected for one of the following:
- Field analysis utilizing ATP testing technology (immediate pass/fail reading)
- Laboratory analysis for total culturable bacteria plate count, as a surrogate for COVID-19
- Laboratory RT-qPCR analysis for identification of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 virus

An unsatisfactory result for any of the above will result the need to reclean/disinfect specific areas.
