The Intertek Carnot facility provides SORE exhaust emission engine research, development, testing, durability, and certification expertise.
The SORE industry typically includes marine stern-drive and ski/inboard (SD/I), outboard, personal water craft, forklifts, all-terrain vehicles, and other nonroad engine applications powered by gasoline, diesel, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas, or other alternative fuels. Two or four stroke, water or air cooled, and vertical or horizontal shaft engines used in many applications are tested.
