Yaqiong Tian, M.EN., B.EN., Senior Regulatory Manager II, Food & Nutrition
Ms. Tian is based in out of Intertek’s Beijing Office and is a member of the Food & Nutrition Group. Ms. Tian is committed to helping clients achieve their market expansion goals by delivering unparalleled experience in the field of food regulatory compliance and new product approval.
She is a regulatory specialist in the area of food-related regulations/standards, food additives, food enzyme and Novel Food ingredients in China. Her qualifications span over 10 years within both the food and food ingredients industry, and regulatory experience in which she worked for national standardization center for food and fermentation industries and the largest international food enzyme company.
Prior to re-joining Intertek in 2022, Ms. Tian worked in the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs area for over 10 years. She was the previous Regulatory Affairs Manager focusing on dairy ingredientsin China for a top-ranked international dairy ingredient company. Within the company, she was responsible for regulatory compliance for diary ingredients marketing in China, worked extensively on new dairy ingredient registration and approval.
She was also the previous Regulatory Affairs Specialist focusing on food enzyme in China for a leading international food enzyme company. Within the company, she worked on regulatory strategies and compliance for new food enzymes, worked extensively on influencing food enzyme standards, GMM guidance, food enzyme regulatory approvals and strategies, and bio-material (i.e. production strain importation license).
Ms. Tian received her M. Engineering in 2006 from the China National Research Institute of Food & Fermentation Industries, majoring in Fermentation Engineering.
