Dayna Lozon is an Associate II within the Food & Nutrition Group of Intertek Health Sciences Inc. She assists in writing dossiers for the authorization of novel foods and food additives in the European Union (EU) and United Kingdom (UK). She also helps clients navigate these regulatory landscapes and can identify data gaps that would prevent authorization.
Dayna’s responsibilities include writing and proofreading safety and risk assessments, and performing literature searches using ProQuest and developing search strategies.
Dayna’s other responsibilities include assisting clients with registration of food manufacturing facilities with the FDA, and conducting formulation reviews and compiling product licensing applications for natural health product (NHP) submissions to Health Canada.
Dayna is a graduate of the University of Guelph where she holds a B.Sc. in Toxicology. She has been published in the Journal of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology.
